'90 Accord stopped on the highway. Wife had it towed to a repair shop where I had had brakes, tires, tune ups in the past. Car started up at their shop but they couldn't figure out the problem, were doing fuel injector cleanouts, etc. I took it to Dan and he said, Sounds electrical. Called me later and said there was a short in the steering column wiring. Fixed it and that was that. I also go to him for all regular services and other repairs. Trustworthy, competent and a nice guy. He and wife run the shop, he does all the work himself. Needs business. Worth the trip if you're anywhere near his area.

Dan has been servicing our Honda automobiles for 25 years for us and other family members. He does all the work himself, knows Hondas inside and out. He's very competent and honest. We would never go anywhere else.

Based on reviews here and other internet sites, I brought my '03 Accord in for a few oil changes plus 75/90k tuneups. Very fair pricing. What I spent on a 90k tuneup was less than 1/4 of what I spent at local dealer for the 30k tuneup. He also easily repaired a few nagging things I had with door hinge assembly and warning lights. Not pushy at all - does what needs to be done and charges the right amount. Sometimes slow to answer the phone because he's a 1-man shop, but he always calls back in a timely fashion. He offered to drive me back to my residence in Santee once. Last time, I needed a car for the day, and the autobody shop just 200 yards away had a Hertz rental for $30. I'm ashamed that I ever took my car to the dealer before, and I won't ever again.
