They maintain a web site [www.saaborama.com] where customers can display a picture of their for-sale Saab, along with necessary info for prospective buyers. Since 1983, I've had a wide range of experience with Saab repairs (frequently known as Saab-stories), and these guys are the best!

Dan is great - he is very willing to explain exatcly what is going on in the car and helpful in finding good prices for parts. He is also helpful in looking at other small issues and informing you about then even if they weren't a part of the original request. He seems very knowledgeable about Saabs and their needs (as they have many) and seems excited about fixing cars and trying out difficult repairs. If you have a Saab in Santa Cruz, this is the place to go.

Dan, the owner of Saab-o-rama, has surprised me with his honesty and old-fashioned way of treating customers. I talke my wife's Saab 9-3 in there to ask why the "air bag light" was on. He replaced the fuse in 2 minutes and when I went to pay him, he said, "Naw, just add it in next oil change or something." My wife went in there asking about her brakes that were squeaking. Dan checked them and he said "you can get another 15k out of them". He obviously could have just bamboozled her quitely for an unneeded break job, but he didn't. We will be loyal to Dan and Saab-o-rama because he seems to be a throw back to the days when honesty and a handshake went a long way in customer service. rick

The owner, Dan, has worked on my Saab and Volvo. His prices are good, work is good, talks me out of unnecessary repairs, takes time to listen, and is just a very honest businessman. He knows Saabs and has a good touch with the volvo.
