Rick is very good with his priceing. Because Rick's only works on Subarus he is very good with them. He stocks most parts and gets most jobs done in one day.

Rick's is a savior for subarus. He's fixed my old 1988 GL wagon several times for reasonable prices and on time. He gives a 10% discount for cash, and generally will try to get your car fixed without all the account padding (visiting the subaru dealer in town is like going to the doctor and paying $1,000 for a tongue depressor or an unneeded test, ssheesh). Rick diagnosed an overheating/running hot problem that several other subaru specialists including the dealer ignored or had no clue about-- he knows his stuff. If I had to do it over again, I might have bought a Honda-- because brothers and sisters, Subarus aren't as well-made or maintenance free as other makes from the land of the rising sun, so thank god for rick. I also trust him with my wife's newer 1998 Subaru Outback. This guy is great.

Rick is the man! He's been working on our Subarus for almost 15 years! He is honest, reliable, and knows subarus better than anyone. Today I went in to have a turn signal checked out. No appointment, I just dropped in. Rick took about 15-20 minutes to replace a plug... no charge (though I have been a customer for years)! His prices are fair and he's just a good ol' honest mechanic who knows his stuff. In fact he is the reason why we now own two subarus. He took such good care of our first one, that we replaced it with two more (knowing that buying a used car with over 100k miles would require a mechanic that you can trust). Anyway, I can't say enough great things about Rick, his son who now works with him, or the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable lady who runs the desk. Need a used car? Buy a Subaru just so Rick can be your mechanic (oh ya, they're great cars too).

They were exceptionally nice, very easy to communicate with, and other than that were honest. They told me my brakes would be fine for a couple thousand miles, but they offered such a good price I just had them do it anyways. I don't think I've ever paid so little for such great customer service.

Rick replaced my head gaskets and timing belt on a 2003 Forester 2.5L. His price was much lower than other estimates. He really knows Subarus. He only replaced parts as needed, which saved me money. They are very nice people. I highly recommend them.
