Excellent shop, can't say enough nice things about them. Honest, accurate estimates, nice people, and they do excellent work. Wish they were open a little later (5:00 p.m. is rather tough for the working folk), but other than that, no complaints. Keep up the good work!!!

I first met Dennis Allen and at least four of his mechanics when they worked for another shop, and they were the top mechanics there. The owners of the other shop had some problems which prompted Dennis to open his own shop, and his place is as good as the other one, without the personal problems of the owners. The service writer John is especially skilled at explaining, in laymen's terms, what needs to be done and why. He will give you every possible alternative and outcome to your car's problems, and deals with the issue of cost as tactfully and sympathetically as possible. You can't help but believe he's honest and sincere, and fully understanding your car's problems really helps. If you can't afford the work, Dennis will work out a way for you to pay because he trusts you as a regular customer. Their waiting room is always comfortable and well stocked with coffee, etc., and the restroom is clean. I'm sure Dennis's wife Kathy(?) has something to do with this, but the guys maintain it. Every year the shop sponsors a big bar-b-que as a thank you to their customers and Dennis's band plays, along with any band that wants to play. The guys and gals at Allen's Wrench are like my car's doctors--they keep it healthy forever, and at 223,000 miles on this car and 285,000 on my last one, I'm great advertising for them.

These guys are great! I took my Accord in for a check engine light one time - they sent me to the dealer for the repair as it was part of a recall that I was not aware of. They could have done the repair and charged me, but instead took the high road. This one act made them my preferred shop for both Hondas that I own.
