Ken is always up front with what the problem/solution is. He tells us what can get the car running and what would be best. He always gives an opinion, but leaves the decision to us. He never does the high pressure sales. His price is probably in the middle of the range. In case of crisis, he always makes time for us. IF HE SAYS SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE, IT NEEDS TO BE DONE. HE IS HONEST BEYOND THE BASIC REQUIREMENT. That honesty is assuring, since I know very little about the inner workings of a car. Others we have talked to say the same thing, "We take our cars to him because we know he is honest." He is not a miracle worker and let's us know that. There are no false hopes if the car has no hope left.

I have taken cars to Sam for 5+ years. He's honest, his prices are fair and he does good work. He'll let you know what MUST be repaired and what may need work in the future. He'll also tell you when something doesn't need work. I've never gotten the feeling that he's trying to get money out of me. When I became a regular customer and he knew that I wasn't going to try to get everything out of him I could, it was not unusual for him to fix a small problem, for example, a light bulb or an easy-to-repair switch and not charge me. He's not out there to get rich, but he does care about the quality of his work and he's honest. One last note. To my knowledge Sam can handle just about any car. However, he has owned several classic Mustangs in the past, so if you've got a classic - especially a Mustang - he really knows what he's doing and he'll treat it with care.
