I've been going to Long Tran, the owner of the shop, for more than ten years. He is a very bright, personable guy with a great deal of experience and integrity. He has four to six mechanics working for him and, even though he is not near a major street or thoughroughfare, he always has a large number of customers with everykind of car imaginable, from the most basic, simple ones like my '89 Voyager and Accord to majestic RV's and high end cars like Lambourgini's and Mercedes Benz, a good sign that others value his work as well. I told my teenage son about an unusual sports car I spotted at his shop several weeks ago. I told him it looked like one of the rare cars he admires in his car magazines. He took his friends to go see, of course. When he returned he said their jaws had dropped when they saw a rare car called the Vector. Long had lowered it from the lift for them, and, although they couldn't touch it, he showed them the engine and other features. I thought this demonstrated both the personal touch you feel you get when you see him as well as the high regard people have for his skills. He is always honest with me and there have been many times when I've taken my cars to him for certain work only to be told that it wasn't necessary yet or about other ways to solve a problem that wouldn't be as expensive.
