You ask if they treat male and female customers the same (emphatically yes), but they also treat high-end and low-end customers equally well. My husband has been going to Sean for 25 years. I started taking my Golf to him when it needed its first tires, then gradually repairing stuff as the car aged. They work on a lot of really nice, high-end cars for a lot of well-heeled clients. Some of them were probably buying tires worth more than my car, but we were always treated like valued customers even as my Golf achieved true "beater" status. (They also have a really cool collection of stuff.)

Sean Sharp and his lovely wife Wendy are the absolute best that you can find. Talk about personal service! When their shop hit 25, they went through their biz records and took all of their oldest customers out to dinner at the SF Olympic Club. And not at one big banquet; separate dinner parties. When they built a new home, we got invited to their housewarming! Sean features common-sense diagnostics and the best repairs possible. My 1969 350 HP Chevy has a quarter of a million miles on it, and is still running like a monster, thanks to Ken's Wheel Service. Go there!!

A really great place - I'm a single woman and a bit weary of mechanics. Sean and (I'm assuming) his wife are very honest. I highly recommend them!

I have been using Ken's Wheel Service for 12 years. There was a 2 year hiatus when my office location made it inconvenient for me to use them. When I changed jobs and called them for an appointment they remembered me right away. They make a huge effort to understand how their customer uses his/her vehicle and they maintain the vehicle to the customers' needs. I have a junker truck they maintain so I feel safe behind the wheel and a Subaru I use for commuting which they make sure runs in top condition. They always give me choices when they are working on repairs, I am the one to make the decisions on my car. They have been in business for 30 years and have long standing customers.
