The two guys who run this shop are among the most trustworthy and competent we have used over a 30 year period in San Francisco. They have never recommended or performed any service that was not necessary, and their prices are very reasonable considering their reliability.

We have 3 Japanese cars: 1995 Subaru Outback, 1993 Mazda Protege and 1997 Honda Odyssey. This shop maintains them all, and they are completely honest, reliable and very reasonably priced. They have deservedly earned high marks from the Bay Area Checkbook. This garage has been owned by the same partners for many years, and their mechanics are long time employees. Appointments are generally required. We completely trust this garage.

I went here on a recommendation, and they recently did the 90,000 mile maintenance on my '99 Honda Civic. I came in with a number of questions which they all answered patiently and respectfully. The price was extremely reasonable, especially compared with what other local places are charging. I bought the car used, and when I had replaced the battery, the radio needed a security code, which the place I had the battery replaced and several dealerships were not able to help me with. The guys at SF Autoworks found it for me, got the radio going again, and put the code on my paperwork for future reference. They told me what repairs I needed to do now and which ones could wait. I'd recommend them to anyone, especially other women.
