Went to this shop for the first time this week...very pleasant folks, if a bit hard to find. They did the work surprisingly quickly, and took the time to point out what was happening at several points along the way, show me where parts were worn, how they fix particular things, etc. I was pleasantly surprised, and will definitely be going back for future repairs!

This has got to be the best auto repair shop. I brought in my BMW and was assured it would cost bundles to repair(from a dealer no less). My engine was overheating when I least expected it. Alan assured me that he would be able to take of the problem. He checked out the problem and reassured me thoroughly that he could fix it. There was not a moment I felt like I was getting ripped off. Alan and his guys are very warm people with a lot of knowledge about cars. They all seem to enjoy their jobs. That's important, because it reflects on the work they put out. Keep up the great work!

Alan is not only very good and hard working, he will give you a ride back from his shop to home or work, and will pick you up again to get your car, or even deliver it to you. This makes up for what otherwise might be an inconvenient location (between Army Street and Bayshore Blvd.) Alan is totally honest. I can't recommend him highly enough. I've been taking my two Volvos to him for over ten years (one is a 77 with 170K miles; the other is a 90 with 120K miles) and he keeps them humming.

I completely agree with previous comment. I have been taking my Hondas and BMW to Alan for almost ten years and have been very impressed. He's meticulous. You could almost eat off the floor of the shop, it's so clean. He saves all replaced parts to show the customer how they were worn out or damaged and why they needed to be replaced. He explains everything very clearly and always tries to save the customer unnecessary expense. Recently had a problem with a defective part -- not his fault -- and he took care of it immediately and paid for a repair I'd had to have as a result of the defective part.

Alan has been the family auto mechanic for over 8 years. He has taken care of all of the cars that I have own and he has always been honest, through and explains want needs to be done and how to prevent major problems from happening in the future. Currently we have four cars that Alan maintains. The oldest car is an Acura that has over 235K and still runs like its only 85K. Highly recommended.

I have dealt with Alan for 11 years and have been very pleased with the work he has done on my vehicles. He is conscientous, hard working, and always accomodating, even at a moment's notice. I wholeheartedly agree with the prior comments regarding his outstanding service. Being a woman and always fearful that I would be taken advantaged of, Alan has always taken the time to explain his work to me in simple layman's terms. Because of his outstanding service and talent, I have highly recommended him to my family and friends.

...was provided with a quick estimate. I brought in my 1989 Mercedes 190E the next week and the shop replaced two front struts in a few hours. My car feels much better going over bumps than before. I would have to say that, although the service is good, the cost for that service is a little bit more expensive...still, I think it was money well spent.

Alan and his mechanics are always on the ball when it comes to my car. I have been extremely satisfied with the work done on my Toyota. They are all so conscientous and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure my car is in excellent shape. Because of the outstanding service, my car continues to run like brand new after almost 120,000 miles! What's also convenient is that they provide a loaner car if they need to keep my car overnight. The shop is also immaculate, every tool and piece of equipment is in its own place.
