THESE GUYS ARE GREAT. BOTH TONY & VINCE ARE VERY ACCOMODATING. I USUALLY TAKE MY CAR IN AROUND 9-10 AM AND GET IT BACK BY 4PM. EVEN THOUGH IT IS A CHEVRON STATION THEY ARE NOT THE USUAL RINKY DINK GAS STATION GARAGE. THEY ARE INDEED FULL SERVICE. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN EXTREMELY PATIENT AND HONEST. EVERYONE AT MY OFFICE NOW TAKES THEIR CAR TO THESE GUYS. SO MANY TIMES THEY COULD HAVE EASILY OVERCHARGED FOR A REPAIR AND DONE MORE THAN NECESSARY BUT THEY DON'T. I CAN'T RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT THEM. THEY ALSO HAVE NO PROBLEM WORKING ON MY ACURA LEGEND. SOON I MAY TAKE THEM MY SAAB.

I've been a customer of theirs for years and have always been satisfied with the work as performed.

This shop is fantastic. I started going here when a co- worker recommended them to me, and now I recommend them to others without any hesitation. I've been there dozens of times since 1994, first with my 89 Escort and now with my 93 Geo. Because I drive older cars, I've had bad experiences with other shops. Not once has Novak Brothers tried to sell me something I didn't need or been dishonest in any way. I take my car there in full confidence. They are fair, they are honest, they do great work and they take pride in what they do. Whenever I go in, the shop is full of happy, 100% satisfied repeat customers like me. Thanks to the Novaks for keeping my vehicles in gear! A+++++++++

I've had my 94 Ford Ranger in to them for a variety of problems minor and major (new clutch, replace belt, hoses, replace steering box, steering pump, check-engine light, transmission repairs, radiator flush). I bring it in before work in the morning and it is usually done by later the same day. They provide transportation to my office. They moved a few years ago from a very safe neighborhood to a more industrial area. I don't have much experience with other mechanics, but they were recommended to me by people in my office, and do a lot of work for the people who work in the nearby office complex. I've in turn recommended them to others looking for a good, fair mechanic.

They did several major jobs for me. First they repaired a simple fan controller that required removing the entire dashboard-a simple job, but time consuming. they charged $600, the dealer wanted $900. they spent between 1-2 hours just to diagnose the problem without charging a penny. Another time I had couple problems with a suspension on a '95 lincoln town car, they fixed 1 of 2 problems, but didn't have the diagnostic equipment to fix the other problem. they spent hours trying with no charge. Great guys, and VERY fair. highly recomended.

Dropped my car off when it refused to start. Once they had it on the lift, they replaced the starter in one hour (with up-front quote and estimate) and charged me $380--what I'm told is completely reasonable for a starter. Their explanation and manners were excellent, and their work was perfect. That my car overheated the first time on the freeway afterward seems completely unrelated, but at least it spiced up the drive home. Note: these guys may be busy. Call ahead or make appointments.
