I love this shop. It looks terrible, and the waiting room is kinda dirty, but the people are honest and the work is cheap. I went in 5 years ago for a low-cost smog test. Later I had an oil change done. Eventually I brought my cars in for everything (except for 4-wheel alignment, that's the only thing that they didn't do well for me). I've had a clutch replaced, shocks/struts on 2 cars, starter, water pump, and other work done. I reccomend this shop to all of my friends as cheap and honest.

Honest and cheap. What more could you ask for? Its not the prettiest shop, but there are several coffee shos within 6 blocks that you can wait at while the work is being done.

Another mechanic told me that my calipers needed to be changed but that sounded fishy so I went here after looking at Cartalk.com and Huan, the office lady who sort of runs the place, was awesome by explaining to me that it was very rare to need both calipers replaced. Turns out I needed both front rotors and brake pads done (I had suspected that) and they did a great job at a great price. They also diagnosed a noise that I had been hearing and it was my rear struts that needed to be replaced The following week I went for that. Again, my car felt a million times better and everything was done well and at a good price. Like the comments say...it's a bit dirty and grungy looking but I couldn't have been happier. There is a Starbucks across the road where I spent time waiting for the repairs to be finished.
