I've had Clarence Brown do work for me a couple times. I had them put 4 new struts on my Jetta and they did a brake job on my F250. I have no complaints with the work. The vehicles were ready when they said they would be. They weren't the cheapest shop around, but the cost of both jobs seemed reasonable to me.

These guys are always pleasant, they provide the information I need, they don't talk down to me, they're reasonably quick, and the prices are right.

I have been using these guys since the mid 80's. Primarly for frontend/alignment work. I have always gotten very good service and the prices were very reasonable. I have recommened them to a friend and he has used them and recommended them to friends. Clarence sold it a number of years ago and the new owner seems just a good. The mechanics have been there since when I first started going there. Hope this helps someone find a decent place to have their front end alignment work done in the San Diego area. BTW, there is an enterprise rentacar within a hundred yards of them so you can rent a loaner to get to work real easy. -Bill
