This is the most honest and cheapest transmission shop in San Diego. I once received an estimated for $3000 to rebuild my tranmission on my van, and they did it for $1700. They are very knowledable. I live in Escondido, but still take all my cars to them for transmission work, because these guys are the best, and Escondido has some real con artists. One time, they failed to see an interlock part that was recommended by Dodge for the Grand Caravan to fix a specific transmission problem, and they did not install this part. A year later, when our Caravan started experiencing a thumping problem in the transmission when it was trying to shift into overdrive, I called them, and they noticed that this part was available. They appologized for overlooking the part, and installed it free of charge. Free part and labor. Mistakes like this can happen, and I feel that what they do afterwards is what really counts. I fell like they treated us fairly in this case, and was quite impressed.
