After putting off a repair for far too long, because I was new to San Diego and didn't have an auto repair guy that I could trust and not worry about being ripped off. I found North Park Auto repair on Yahoo. They had only been reviewed 5 times and all had five stars. The reviews were great so I took a chance. They were absolutely great. He gave me a up front price range up front. The problem was not easy to diagnose, so he couldn't give me an exact price. All of the people were nice and friendly. The repair was done the next day. The price was very reasonable, about what I had hoped. The garage is a typical garage; not too clean, not too dirty. I am so thrilled to find them. They hooked me up with a cheap car rental place, it was like $19.00 for a car during my repair. They don't have the nicest cars, but they are not horrible or ghetto (they'll pick you up). They work on foreign and domestic cars. Mine was a 95 Toyota Camry. They work on much newer cars too. I am looking to get a new car, they offered to check it out for me for free. I would recommend them to anyone. So if you are looking for a great mechanic and don't want to break the bank i would highly recommend North Park Auto Repair. I am sorry if you think I am being too enthusiastic, but it's hard to find a great mechanic in this world and I am just happy that I found one. Signed, Green Station Wagon P.S. Doug is the Man!!

Andy, the manager, is knowledgeable, friendly, and thoroughly explains problems/repairs. The customer may bring his/her own parts as well, however, NPA does not gouge with overpriced repair parts they purchase. In both instances I've dealt with NPA, Andy has recommended rational preventive procedures that have extended my time on the road and out of the shop.
