The Arden Service Center team has many contacts among Sacramento's mechanics. When I bring them a specialized problem that they can't fix, not only do they admit their limitations up front, but they refer me to someone who specializes in the area and can be trusted. I have found their referrals, without fail, to be of the highest quality. I now call them about any problem I have with my car -- if they can fix it, it is done right, on time, and for a reasonable price. If they can't, they send me to someone who can, and never charge me more than a nominal amount for looking under the hood. If no work needs to be done, they will tell me so, even if I'm standing there with my wallet open.

Owners are always on site during the regular repair hours (8AM to 6PM). Highly recommended.

I have had 4 cars worked on at this shop. A rebuilt wheel cylinder they placed leaked - they apologized (although they didn't rebuild it)and replaced it promptly with no charge. My son put a new engine in his RX7 and stripped threads where the housing is attached on the transmission. They drilled out the old hole, repaired the threads with a metric insert the size of the original bolt and charged very little. I hadn't expected anyone to be willing to touch this kind of problem. They routinely work 14-15 hr days but are always patient and polite when I bring something by or ask questions. They have listened to my car in the parking area by the shop and told my a noise didn't need to be evaluated or treated.

on one occaasion they made a repair which had a problem. I had a broken leg so they sent two mchanics to my home to make the repair . Another time I asked them to lacate a short in the wiring. I picked up the car and they told me they could not find the short after 5 hours work and so could not charge me. Two critical support providers in life: a car mecahnic and a plumber, both must be trustworthy

I have dealt with Arden Village for over 20 yrs. and have found that if they don't get the problem fixed the 1st time, they'll stay with it until they do.

Once, after working on my car for 5 hours to locate a short circuit, they told me they could not find the short. When I asked the price, they said, " No charge, we were not able to correct the problem". With that, they have been my mechanic for about 20 years.
