Rick is the best mechanic I've ever found. He is honest, kind and skilled. If he thinks you can get a better deal on a specific service problem (ie muffler) he'll tell you where to get a better deal. You don't need to know anything about cars to feel like you are getting good service. Rick never talks down to you and explains things well.

Rick the owner was very helpful in explaining to my son what the other mechanic's should of done when they kept charging him and not fixing the problem. Rick fixed for a very reasonable price the 1st time. Wish all mechanic's were like him. Collyn Ferris

Rick has been running the shop for some time now and he does a great job. He has worked on my Bronco, Blazer and Maxima. His brake job is cheaper than Midas. Old fashioned shop as you talk to Rick and get honest answer.

Rick at Tom's Automotive is a great mechanic. He is honest, competent, and knows how to speak to a customer. I am never charged for work that does not need to be done.

Replaced my toyota clutch. Fix locks and steering column on a stolen/recovered Buick. Refused to take money for estimating a repair that was not worth fixing.

I <3 Rick. I've been taking my cars to him for six years. He accurately diagnoses problems and never performs more work than needed. For example, when I took my car in to have the brake pads replaced (per manufacturer's recommendations), Rick replaced the front brakes and told me the back ones were still good for another 8000-10,000 miles so he didn't replace them at the time. (Who's ever heard of a mechanic turning away work?!) His prices are fair and reasonable. Rick does a good job of explaining problems and recommended courses of action so I understand what is going on. Several of my co-workers also take their cars to Rick, and they are all pleased with his talent and wonderful service.

Awesome Chevy Mechanic! This shop is a one man show run by a 25+ year mechanic named Rick and he knows his stuff. He really knows Chevy Tahoe's, Suburbans and Trucks because he has owned two of them personally. He gave me an honest quote over the phone for specific work and parts for free. During the work he found another problem and called me to let me know what was going on and fixed it too for a great price. This guy is going to get my repeat service for the life of my vehicle. He also went the extra mile by helping me clean some rust from the undercarriage and spraying anti-rust spray for 10 dollars. This is an honest mechanic that does all the work by himself.Give this small business owner the help he needs to stuck around by giving him some good old fashioned work. He will not disappoint you!!
