5 years ago I wanted to buy a used car. When I took the car to them to check it over, they had a complete mechanical history on the car since the owners had selected Walker Automotive as their service center since the car was new. Often times my wife or I will just drop by and Larry Moore, the owner, will fix some things like a burnt out light, or fuse at no charge right there on the spot. My wife and I have been going to Walker automotive for nearly 20 years with all our cars, including new ones. They have a very loyal bunch of customers

I guess we've been going to Larry for nearly 30 years. He is the rare scrupulously honest businessman and master mechanic. I can recall only one time when he felt that he could not handle a problem (a squirrely Mercedes transmission). He said so quickly and recommended a specialist. In nearly 50 years of car ownership, I have never met a more competant "car doctor". He's a really nice guy too!
