It has been good to see Chuck grow over the years from a one-man shop to one of Redding's largest repair shops.

I first met Chuck just after he opened this shop and have been encouraged to see his business grow; he's everything you're looking for in a mechanic - honest, competent, diligent and knowledgeable. I've taken cars to him over the years despite living far away - he's that good, and he takes care to ensure his shop is always first class.

I first heard about them from a few people around town who said they do great work. I called early in the morning to see if they had any appointments for a quick smog check. 10 minutes later I was at their shop and they had my Honda going through the motions. While I was waiting I was talking to Lou about my terrible experience at one of those "chain stores" when they changed my belts and mutilated the installation of the alternator bolts. About 15 minutes later, they had the correct bolts on order. My wife took the Honda in to be repaired and she was in and out of the shop within an hour, just like they promised. Just to give you and idea of their honesty: they first thought the issue might have something to do with my A/C compressor, but as soon as Lou investigated the problem, the entire bill was under $60!! They are certainly more interested in fixing the problem than stuffing their pocket books. It's tough to find a shop to trust, especially when you just moved to town, like myself. I'm very pleased that I took my car there and will visit them for all of my automotive needs.
