In addition to the Dodge listed above, we have a Honda, and a Mazda. For most maintenance we take all these cars to Dave's and in most cases his shop is able to perform the needed repairs. When they can't perform the repairs they simply let us know and we go to a specialist. This most often happens with our '85 Mazda Rx7 and even in that case it doesn't happen too often. I am consistently surprised at how little some repairs/adjustments cost. Basically, Dave seems to know where he makes his money (i.e. return customers and large repairs) and he doesn't sweat the little stuff. Also, once he has identified a problem, he will often give a range of possible repairs such as, "You need to do <this> now but <that> can wait..." along with prices for the various repairs. This allows us to do the absolutely necessary things immediately and work the others into our budget and schedule. Their only shortcoming is they don't do everything, :-). Now, I'm off to find a good Madza Rx7 speciality mechanic who can fix the steering problem I'm having...
