I cannot recommend Mr. Kim highly enough. I travel miles to see him. He is competent, effective, honest, thorough, and unbelievably reasonably priced. When I was a student he kept my 25-year-old car running and was always personally concerned about my having access to transportation at a reasonable price. He has gone above and beyond in technical ability and service and is meticulous in his repairs. He even at one time bought the service manual for the old car (and didn't charge me). He's taken the time to re-connent a battery back in after a repair so that I didn't have to pay for a new one even though I had authorised a new one. This week I was there for something that looked serious, he checked what it was, explained to me that it was trivial, fixed it in literally 2 minutes (checking and wiping down my engine as he did so), and charged me $5 for the part that he used. You can not find finer, more honest or more reliable help than this mechanic.
