I've known him since he was a kid. He was the one that was always taking apart lawnmowers and building minbikes and go-karts. He's as honest as the day is long. He cares for people. Just last week he made a long-distance phone call to talk to a mechanic who was trying to help my wife. She was on a trip and "the car just stopped running". The mecahnic wanted to start by replacing a fuel pump. With Cliff's help they figured out it was a shorted wire. Ten cents worth of electrical tape and she was back on the road. When she got home Cliff made the long-term repairs.

I've always found Cliff very pleasant to deal with. He's located in Alameda, close to the bridges so is easy to get to from the freeway. As a female customer I've never felt patronized or spoken down to and I trust him to do what's right. When we were going to the dealer for servicing they were always telling us that our flux capacitor needed flushing or recalibration. Cliff does what the car actually needs.
