Steve is a rarity in the mechanics' world: a scrupulously honest mechanic who is extremely competent in all makess & models. He is also extremely friendly and personable and makes you feel like a friend. A lot of the customers become friends and do favors for each other (rides to/from the shop, etc.), especially the Mini Cooper people! Steve used to specialize in Camaros & Corvettes but is now the go-to guy for Minis, with people driving in from an hour or more away to have Steve trick out their Mini. He was featured on a 1 hour car show on ESPN 2 and has been the subject of the cover article on a Mini Cooper magazine. But he also fixes everyday 'Mom & Pop' cars and can do everything short of transmissions and mufflers. A great guy and a great mechanic who won't fix anything unless it needs fixing, and then does a primo job with the customer's budget always in mind.
