They've kept me going through two Volvos, so far.

They've worked on 4 Volvos since '86. Once needed to run quick errands while the car was in the shop--GL tossed me a set of keys to a spare '84 and I was off. Offered positive/constructive advice regarding repair of daughter's Volvo in another part of the state. Staff has LOW turnover.

Kruse-Lucas Imports has worked on my BMWs for years. They always explain what needs to be done, and they let me know what the car will need next. They have made sure my older model BMW is safe to drive. I never feel that they are trying to take advantage of the customer. Their prices are fair, (especially when compared to the BMW dealership) I highly recommend Kruse-Lucas.

This is a good group of people. The do work on time and materials rather than "package" services from the dealer. It is hard to tell if that is a good thing or not. Sometimes they forget a small item, such as Mercedes' need water in their batteries every year and it should be checked, but the dealer forgets too. Overall they are a pleasant group to work with and a very different atmosphere than the assembly line treatment at a dealership. They work hard and put in long hours.

I have been taking my various volvos to them for many years. They specialize in European cars.. I think I would take a Japanese car somewhere else. The are about 60 miles and almost 1.5 hours away but they know volvos and it is worth it to travel down there to get the job done right. I have never had to return a car with a poorly done job. All the mechanics seem to know their stuff.
