At Adair, they were very honest with us. We have an old Honda Accord, and Tom addressed the critical fixes while also warning us of the possibilities of future problems if we didn't repair the other existing conditions. He even suggested that since we are apprentice DIY'ers (do-it-yourself'ers), that we address some of the problems on our own to save on the cost of repairs. Under Tom's basic tutelage (along with a repair manual), we were able to get the diagnostic trouble code (DTC), identify the bad part, replace the bad component (Idle Air Control Valve), and clear the DTC from the computer. It's not like he watched over us as we did it, but his assurance that it was an easy fix allowed us to undertake the task with confidence. Now, the car runs better, we repaired it ourselves, and we saved a lot of money on labor. The realistic approach by Tom, Tom Jr., and Naomi shows me that they know how to take care of their customers.
