This shop was recommended to me by my tire store when my radiator overheated a fews days after another shop replaced my water pump. It turned out that I had a blown head gasket, which the other shop hadn't noticed. The guys at LA Radiator were very helpful, and offered to patch up my valves for free if I couldn't leave the car with them immediately. They kept me updated by phone & were very responsive when I called. The owner is Steve Carthew. I dropped a lot of money getting the head gasket repaired & getting a valve job, but my 1990 has been running a lot better since I had the work done.

I have known Steve Carthew and Tom for over 20 years and rthey have fixed a number of my cars over the years. That tells you something right there. Decent HONEST people who know what they are doing. Steve does superb mechanical work on everything under the hood and around your car, while Tom does immaculate body work. And let's not forget their radiator service. It's one stop service and they are THE BEST. Period!
