Ori's Service Center is an odd-looking Goodyear dealer that seems to occupy two different lots on either side of Fountain Avenue in Hollywood, CA. I'll apologizes ahead of time for the closed-mindedness, but it doesn't look like the sort of place I'd expect to get first rate work done. In this case, looks seem to be deceiving. I actually can't speak to the quality of the repairs since I don't know bupkus about what anybody does beneath the hood of my car. What I do know is that the repairs that Ori's has done on my car seem to have solved the problems that the car was having. What seems particularly impressive, though, about the place, is the forthrightness and apparent decency of the guys who work there. On several visits, the Service Manager has advised me not to have repairs done on my car because the repairs could wait. Today, the shop discovered that my water pump was about to fail. But, because they had installed the pump a year and a half ago, they have replaced it for free, even though the pump's manufacturer apparently is not going to extend the warranty -- Ori's, in other words, seems to be eating the cost of the repair in order to make good on it. This sort of service is very impressive to me, particularly because the arena of car repair is mysterious and somewhat intimidating to a shlub like me.

I just want to say that I feel very lucky to have found this shop. These guys are honest and I feel very comfortable leaving my car in their hands. After I moved to L.A. I thought it would be very difficult to find a reliable mechanic. When my car broke down, I checked out this website and found Ori's. It is right down the street --- on Highland and Fountain. They are very professional and honest. I can not say enough. As a special touch, they have a fountain made out of car parts and two little song birds in cages by the lounge. Very funny. I hope this helps someone else in their search for excellent service.

They were friendly , prompt, competent and completed the needed repairs without embellishment. I recommend them highly.
