I heard about Sarkis through a friend, who heard about him through another friend. All 3 of us are women and Sarkis has treated all of us with respect and honesty. I've got an old 94 Taurus w/ 100+ miles that I'm trying to keep running. Sarkis is great about telling me what needs to be done vs what really doesn't need to be done. He saved me a lot of money when I went to him for a second opinion after an unscrupulous Ford dealer told me I needed several large repairs. His shop is very large and often crowded, but the work is usually done in a timely manner, and he talks to each customer individually when they bring in and then pick up their car. He's a local gem in Los Alamitos.

Sarkis, the owner, has checked out several used cars for us prior to purchase and makes honest helpful recommendations. He never charges us for little odds and ends that need to be taken care of (wind shield wipers replaced, light bulbs, etc.) when he does other work. He always tries to help us do the most economical repair if there are options. He treats our 18 year old as if it were his own daughter.

When my daughter wanted to by a car, we found a Ford Taurus that looked to be in good shape and took it to Sarkis for evaluation. His comment was it looked good now, but was likely to get into problems in the next 20,000 miles. His comment: he liked us too much for us to buy that car, even though it meant we would be in his shop 'all the time'!

From the time I walked in the door till I drove out, everyone was very polite and helpful. Sarkis checked out my car thoroughly and found nothing to be concerned about. He did not charge for his time or going over the car. I would strongly recommend this station.

Been screwed by the dealer more than once. 30K service on our Forester was $730 at Timmons, Norm's Automotive was about $230 for the same work. When there were some battery problems, they suggested that I go to the chain automotive supply/service as they were at least $50 less than they would charge to change out the battery.
