I have a buddy who is the kind of guy who spends hours upon hours with his car and knows every condition of everything on her. He kept telling me about this Discount Tire Store (specifically the one on the corner of Anaheim and Redondo) and how I really ought to take my vehicles there - that "they treat everyone right and they won't mess with you because you are a woman." I intentially did NOT do that, because I normally avoid "chain stores" like the plague. However, after having my chain jerked one too many times, I went to "Discount" and am so very pleased with the professional care my vehicles receive and the respect with which I am treated. oh- and it turns out that ALOT of folks in my neighborhood go there and recommend it to their friends. My only (small) gripe is that they are so good that they are sooo busy. But if you check 'em out, I can't imagine that you'd regret it.
