This was my first visit to the shop, and the owner took the time to explain what he had done and why. I appreciated that. There are few restaurants or shops nearby to spend time in, so I suggest wearing walking shoes & going 5 blocks to a very nice library in Inglewood city center.

I was raised in a small town general auto repair shop in another part of the state. My career is not related, so I have little time to take care of my repairs. In my 30+ years in the area, I have always sought for a shop I feel comfortable with. Because my previous mechanic retired, I searched for another. In my search for a new mechanic, Allright Automotive had 3 very strong recommendations from people of very diverse backgrounds, some knowing cars well and others not. I was personally acquainted with all 3 referring people and respected their perspectives. The combination of backgrounds and perspectives made the recommendation that much stronger for me. That was about 10 yr. ago. Besides my own work, I have recommended many others (most of them not mechanically inclined) who have been satisfied with their work. My church sends their vehicle to them. With my perspective and background, they have still built a trust that has been well earned. They do business professionally, always giving estimates and any requested explanation to help understand the basis of the estimate. They are innovative and resourceful in their network of contacts in finding hard-to-get parts or better prices on the parts, still not compromising on the quality. I have never had reason to doubt their integrity, even when uncontrolled circumstances caused a sensitive situation. They try hard to please the customer. I have seen no traces of deception used. If you come in with the opinion that the problem will require a major repair and they find it doesn't, they are always candid and make only the necessary repairs, charging accordingly. In any case, if the nature of the necessary repair changes, they always contact the customer to consult them before proceeding on the changed direction. As much as possible, they use their experience to check in the initial estimating inspection what the true repair needs are and inform the customer at that time.

I am a listener of car talk and found All Right Automotive through the referral page. I recently moved to this area and needed to find a mechanic whom I could trust. After reading the review, I decided to go to the shop. The owner of All Right, Jack, impressed me with his open and friendly attitude. He and his mechanics, Harold and Tony (whom are great guys ), spent quite a long time listening to the car, along with driving me over to another automotive shop to get a second opinion, all at no cost! Once the problem was accurately diagnosed, the repair was done within two hours on a Saturday morning. The price for the parts were the lowest availble. (I even checked the internet!) During the repairs my brakes were found to be worn out ( rotors and pads ) Even during this added repair, I was kept informed and shown all the parts upon return. The labor costs are extremely fair also and next week I am going back again to have another small repair handled. While waiting at the shop, other customers came in for repairs or just to visit and were recieved with the same positive attitude! This impressed me, as I have been put off by the impersonal ways I have found myself treated at other automotive shops. I am happy to say that I have found an individual whom I trust, is fair and whom I have faith in. Terrence Curran

Allright is A OK with me! Being a woman, it's hard to find honest auto repair, but Allright proved me wrong. I've been going to them since 2005, when I had some trouble with my car that the dealer wanted to charge 3 times as much as Allright. They are very fair, honest and friendly.
