Bob is the owner and the mechanic ratings I posted are based on my dealings with him. His mechanics do the work and he stands by it all. What I like is they tell you what needs to be done and tell you the options, or the time span you could wait to have work done; i.e. prioritize if you can't afford it all at once. I've been dealing with him through 2 trucks and 2 cars in the last 21 years. The shop specialty is import/foreign cars, but they do work on others. I recently had to have a rebuilt engine put in due to a blown rod. He encouraged me to find the paperwork from my most recent oil change done by the quicky place in town so I could get some sort of remuneration, because he said they had installed the oil filter wrong, causing all the oil to drain out. Other places may not have cared about the cause, just in doing the work and getting the money. (Unfortunately, I hadn't kept the paperwork.) But everything's been peachy keen with the car since his shop's work.
