I've done business with Ron for over 20 years through several cars. His business has grown as has his reputation for competent and honest work. If the work is extensive, he always finds a "loaner" for you. He won't do unnecessary repairs and will always take great pains to explain what the problem is and what your choices may be, as opposed to: "The only way you can fix this is...." His son Rusty is very much involved in the running of the shop at this point and his staff of mechanics has been with him long term and they all know what they are doing. But Ron will generally always check the result of repairs personally. He once rebuilt the 6 cylinder engine to a '63 Ranchero I owned. He was meticulous to the point of asking me whether I wanted to put in particular pistons he had on hand or wait a few days until he could get slightly smaller ones so the he wouldn't have to bore the cylinders out quite so much, thereby keeping the heat a little further away from the water jacket and allowing the car to run a tad cooler. I proceeded to drive that vehicle for 10 more years until I sold it for double what I originally paid for it.

Strong family/generational history in auto repair. Very knowledgeable, resourceful. Exceptional analytical skill. Fees may be a little higher, but the "you get what you pay for" law applies. You'll leave the shop feeling confident in the work done on your car and happy that you've finally found a friend in the repair business that you can trust. GOOD PEOPLE.
