I took our "baby," a 1993 Miata, to have the wheels aligned. I had some specs from a Miata performance book and they didn't have any problem using them, the other shops would only align the car to factory specs. I was allowed to watch the process and was even allowed to take pictures of the underside of the car. (Ok, I'm weird) The tech, a nice man named Jacob, talked to me during the work, and explained what adjustment did what to the handling of the car. When I took the car after that I noticed it had a slight pull to the right, not much but annoying, and I took it right back. Jacob looked at the printout from the alignment machine and said that it was done to my specs, if it was off by a thousandth, that would have made it pull the other way. So he suggested we swap the two front wheels, which made sense to me. But I asked him if he would check the air pressure in the tires first and he gave himself a dope-slap! The tires where dead even, so he went ahead and did the swap. The car tracked straight, with a TINY hint to the left. Completely tolerable. Now the BEST part! The car began making a nasty rattling sound, I poked around under there and was pretty sure it was an exhaust heat shield. I took it to B&S and when Jacob saw me he came right out and asked if the alignment was ok, I told him it was fine and about the rattle. He put the car on the lift RIGHT away and we both started banging on the exhaust. The rattle was coming from the catalytic converter. So I asked him to get me a price on a new one, told him I could do the install, it's a bolt on so it's pretty easy. But that was service! Really a great team there!

My car was overheating about 20 miles from the shop and they came and bailed me out (bottled water in the radiator) and followed me as I slowly drove to the shop for diagnosis......they have come to my home to jump/charge the battery so I didn't have to be towed.....even though it's expensive to fix my car, the repairs are always explained thoroughly and why the cost seems high (I guess even mechanics have to eat meat with their macaroni and cheese sometimes!!) the owner has bailed me out when I thought my steering column was frozen and the car wouldn't start, when in fact as he came to rescue at the 'mall', all I needed to do was turn my steering wheel a little to unlock the ignition (boy, did I feel like a bozo!) This shop has been family run since 1995 and has a reputation in the community as one of integrity, honesty and certified repairs you can trust! Owners name is Tom and he stands behind his repairs, desiring every customer to be a satisfied one.

This shop is tops! The owner is involved in estimates, explanation of repairs and sometimes even in the repairs themselves. Have taken my cars there since 1995 and never been disappointed.
