The first few times I went in for a repair, they told me of a simple fix I could perform myself. In other words, their priority was a fixed car rather than their profit. Their prices for other, major work have been very, very reasonable. I now live an hour away but return for brakes, tires, etc. They are across the street from BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit).

I have been using the services of R&R Auto for several years off and on for minor repairs with very good results. Both the brothers (Raj and Ravi) are hard working and scrupulously honest in their dealings with people. I also was very suprised and pleased that their pricing is significantly lower than anybody else I tried for the same service. I don't know how they do it, except that it is a small gas station repair shop and is family run. They also have by far the best tow service I have used and are available round the clock. My car is currently sitting at their shop getting a diagnosis after it suddenly died just after my spending $2600 on service at another shop. If the problem turns out to have been caused by the work done at the other shop, then I will be sure to have all my work done at R&R from now on...

These guys are located across the street from the BART station my wife and I commute from, so it's convenient just to drop our cars off in the morning for service and pick them up after work. They've done several tire repairs and smog checks for us and have always been friendly and courteous.
