The first thing I noticed about Buzz what that he wasn't jumping all over the place trying to get me to come in for my 7500 maintanence. But when I insisted that it had to be done so I could maintain my maintenence agreement, he said "Bring it in and I'll walk around the car and sign your book." He didn't charge me for the "once over" and explained how much someone else would have charged for a needless 7500 mile job. He has been honest, and timely, and my car runs like a dream. I've recommended him to other women with Honda's and they say the same thing. In fact, a friend was waiting for him while he was on the phone talking to a woman whose car had broken down on vacation. He was telling her to call him with the mechanics diagnosis and he would let her know if his estimate was fair. I had an Air Conditioning problem once. I took it to the dealer because it was supposed to be under warrenty. The dealer told me it wasn't a warranty problem, then pretended to fix it and lied to me when they said they called to check if this problem was covered by my warrenty. The next day the Air conditioner still had problems. I took it to Buzz, and he, again, wouldn't do it, but made sure he sent me to someone who he trusted to do it. I got the same service there, and funny thing, it was covered by the warranty. It's amazing what you can find out when you call. I carry Buzz's cards in my wallet and pass them out to friends and complete strangers. I haven't been dissappointed yet.

He changed all of my fluids in my 90 legend for only $95. Included brake fluid, tranny, and flushed radiator. I pulled the trans dipstick and he definitely changed it, and the radiator cap was replaced with a stock cap not the stant one I had on. Good, Honest mechanic-hard to find and I use to work on my own cars when I was younger. I would reccomend for a fair price and he does not overcharge.

I have been taking my Honda Prelude to Buzz for 4.5 years now. I totally trust him. He always beats the Honda Dealer on pricing. I've never actually had any problems with my car, but they have always done a good job on basic maintenance.

i first considered going to buzz from what was written here by others, and then from an actual referral by a friend. he came off kind of terse in the beginning, but i soon saw that he is a very nice guy who tries to be very up front with you. i had banged one of my wheels into a curb, and although i didn't feel anything major was wrong/damaged, i still wanted to have a good mechanic check it out. he knew i was cost-conscious before he hoisted up my car, and when he found that nothing serious was wrong with it, he did a simple fix and basically charged me nothing for it. it was a small job, but a big gesture, and i really appreciated him doing that. i still have to get my wheels aligned, and he gave me a referral to another shop who does it precisely, and even offered to call the other shop and give the owner the heads-up on my car.

Even though the shop name says Honda & Accura they have worked on two of our Toyota mini vans over the years. With great results. The frist was Toyota Previa and the current van is a Toyota Sienna. They are down to earth people and willing to spend the extra time so you know what is really needed to be doen to your vehicle.

Kevin has worked on my Saturn and he is always honest and trustworthy. If something doesn't need fixing he says so.

Buzz is fantastic. I found him by using the Car Talk site, and he's never disappointed. I'm bummed since I'm selling my Honda - I won't be able to use him for the new car. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Summary: Top-notch service and incredibly reasonable on pricing. Highly recommend Buzz's for integrity and service. Service: I asked Buzz if he could inspect a used Acura that I was considering to buy. He did a great job inspecting it thoroughly with his crew, and gave me an honest assessment of the condition of the vehicle. Pricing: Buzz's prices were very reasonable. I called around to see what it would cost to get a mechanic to inspect my car with quotes coming in around $90-$110. Buzz's price was at a significant discount to that range. But to top that, once he finished the inspection, Buzz told me there wouldn't be any charge for the inspection. Now that's was a great deal! Granted, the car I brought in was fairly new and in good condition to start, and I'm sure he's not offering freebies all the time, but the offer was still a nice gesture. Conclusion: No question--totally worthwhile going to Buzz's for service and pricing.
