I needed brake work on my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder. The dealership wanted over $700 for the job. Ron felt the rotors were fine, put on factory pads after fixing up the existing rotors for $250. I appreciated his honesty and willingness to do only what was necessary. As Ahnold would say, "I'll be back"!

My mother's Honda Accord (with over 200,000 miles!) needed repair. She lives in Palm Desert, and would ordinarily take her car the 2+ hours back to Los Angeles to her mechanic to have her car fixed. Problem was, I wasn't sure the car would make it that far, not to mention she needed to have a trusty mechanic somewhere near her for convenience sake. I checked the reviews on mechanics in the Palm Desert area; J.T. Fleet had a good review and was very close, so I encouraged her to take her car there. She did, and this is what she wrote to me: "The man's name is Ron. He faithfullyt checked everything and doggedly went after the problem and fixed the car. His charge did not reflect the amount of time he put into fixing it." She also called me and went on profusely as to how good he was. Needless to say, I now have peace of mind that she has a trustworthy mechanic nearby!

Ron was very upfront and honest. I picked him after just moving here and reading your lousy website for recommendations. The car needed a valve job and he was almost apologetic about it. He hated to give me the bad news. The car has 120,000 miles on it and now runs like a top. I would send anyone I know there in a minute, but since I'm new to the area and don't know anyone yet that won't be problem.
