When I first started working with this shop, I called to make an appointment and then dropped the car off. I left a note with the keys, authorizing work up to a limit of $500 without any further phone calls for confirmation. When I picked it up (after hours) that evening, the bill came to less than $40. What an opportunity for them to make some extra bucks! They came through with flying colors & I am bound to them for life! If only I'd known they don't do Nissan when I bought the new car... I didn't do my homework. But my Honda will always be theirs.

We've got three Toyotas, an '83 Tercel, '86 Camry and '97 Corolla, and Castro Valley Autohaus has kept them all in good shape. If you've got a Toyota, Volkswagen or Mazda, this is the place to get it fixed.

You definitely get more bang for your buck at the Autohaus. I took in an '88 Corolla FX for a major tune-up, complete rear brake job, muffler, and smog. While the bill came in at a healthy $800, the car runs like five years and fifty thousand miles came off. The services provided in the $200 major tune-up would have cost twice that at a dealer or less scrupulous shop. I am very pleased with the experience and recommend them to anyone, especially those with an older import that needs some TLC.

They serviced my 86'Toyota 4X4 for 14 years and kept in running it tip top shape. Great honest service. They now service Nissan, they take care of my 01 Pathfinder.

Been going there for 30 some years and my inlaws have been going there longer. I feel like they are friends, well, they are friends.

Awesome service. Joe knows his Toyotas, Hondas, Nissan's and Mazda's. Always fair and honest.

A great shop, they primarely do general maintenance, and they know when to refer you to another reputable shop if they don't think they can fix the problem (before you shell out any money). Other customers I've met there say the same thing, and I think many have been going there for 5+ years. My daughter now takes her Honda there, and has also been very pleased with the service.
