I am not an easy customer. I am one of those picky cusotmers you may even call "high maintenance". I brought my car in for the first time with a mal-functioning electrical door lock. My concern was taking apart the original sealing and sound proofing of interior of the door. I was concerned that when you cut into the plastic sealing that it would destroy the weatherproofing and allow moisture into areas that could ultimatley cause rust (a previous problem that I ran across with another vehicle). Doug assured me that he would cut along the seal and re-attach the protective plastic and sound proofing material. I think that he knew that I was skeptical, because when I came in to pick up my vehicle he gave me a picture of the interior of my door with the seal and plastic re-attached! I was suprised and even laughed but it really did put my mind at ease and did wonders to establish trust. I have had many visits to Acura By Doug and my car always comes back clean, on time and working. All in all, I have had nothing but good experiences with this repair facility. They are not the rock bottom cheapest in town, but by no means are they ever the most expensive .... but then again people .... you get what you pay for, right?

Doug is a true professional with great compassion for those of us who have difficult work schedules which make it very hard to set up appointments for maintenance when you can't be without your car during the work week. He did an excellent job and he even came to the shop on a Saturday when he would not normally be working because I explained my work schedule situation to him that does not allow me to be without my car during the week for any amount of time. To make his gesture to help me out more impressive, I did not have a chance to call him until 7pm on Friday night, yet, he still agreed to adjust his schedule so that he could repair my brakes the next morning on a Saturday. Now that is a person with integrity and compassion for his customers!! I would highly recommend anyone to go to Doug for your Automotive repairs. Thanks again Doug! Great job, I will continue to come to you for all of my automotive repairs and maintence needs for my Honda.

Doug Fabris, the owner is a very honest and skilled auto technician; he did not try to perform or suggest work on my 2003 Lexus GS 300 that was not needed. He advertises as an Acura and Honda specialist, but also repairs and services all makes from Japan. Goodbye to the Lexus dealer, and hello to Acura by Doug.

I went to this mechanic after reading their reviews on cartalk.com and a VERY BAD experience with my Infiniti dealer. Doug was very honest and gave an estimate for repair that was about 30% of what the dealer had wanted. The lower estimate was not because he was charging me less for all the repair but because he found most of the recommended repair unnecessary (I did not tell Doug a priori on what the dealer had told me was broken). After getting the estimate I asked about components (for example front brake pads) that the dealer had told me would need replacement. He said I had enough left on the pad to last at least a year if not more. Anyway, he fixed the issues on time and I have not had any problems with the car since then (about 8 months ago-- I am writing this review on 1/1/2012).
