Four Car Garage is GREAT. After dealing with the incredibly bad service provided by the dealer in SF (but that's another rant and rave), it was wonderful finding (thanks to a friend) the Four Car Garage. Gary is the owner and chief mechanic; Diane is his wife. Last names? I guess they have them. But they're so friendly, who needs them. I have a 1990 BMW 525i. Every repair Four Car has done has been completed on time, without error, and within the estimate (they aren't cheap -- but neither is the dealer!). When you pick up the car, it's washed and ready to go. And then Gary goes through the repairs like a doctor giving you your latest blood test. They aren't that near to good public transportation, but Diane makes up for it. Once, she even picked my wife and I up fromt he airport and took us back to the garage (where we had left our car for service). I have held off writing you about them because I'm afraid too many people will hear about them and they'll become spoiled. Or worse, like our favorite restaurants, the minute my wife and I like a place, it goes out of business (so I won't tell you how much we like Mikes Pastry in the North End!) Tom High
