If you like strong coffee, owner Jon Pszenitzki makes it with double doses of Peet's French roast. Jon and Rick are especially patient and helpful in fixing minor problems on a drop-in basis without ever making me feel stupid for not knowing what to do about it. They also encouraged my son to learn how to do repairs on my old Volvo when I gave it to him so he wouldn't have to pay them. I've been going to them since 1980 with no regrets.

I've been going there since around 1995, when my 1980 240 broke down. My then boyfriend stopped at their shop, which was close to his work, and described the situation. They said it was probably the fuel relay system and gave him a handful of fuses, saying that he could just pay for what worked and return the rest. Needless to say, I was impressed by this offer and was hooked as their customer. There have even been a couple of situations when I've brought it in and the repair was so quick (broken window switch or somesuch) that they didn't even charge me. I always feel they treat me fairly and courteously, and that they don't assume I don't understand whatever is ailing my car just because I'm a woman. I still go there even though I moved across the bay years ago. I've tried three other shops (one time each) and always have returned to John and Rick.
