Henry and his son Lonnie are always conscientious, cheerful, and responsive when my aging car needs help. Plus, they play NPR in their garage! They're not the cheapest in town, but they're worth it.

Really good folks. Know what a carburetor and other arcane components are and how they work.

They are the nicest people, and will spend hours trying to find a problem, but if they don't, they won't charge you, or if they work on your car, but the problem persists, they'll do more work for free (the times that I've had these experiences).

Been going to Henry's for over 25 years. I even drive over the Sierra now that I've moved away. One time many years ago my car started to make an awful screech from the front end. Drove directly to Henry's and left the car. He called an hour later, said come get it. When I got there he said "Hold out your hand." Then he dropped a pebble in it and told me that it had been stuck between the brake and the break drum. When I asked how much I owed him he said "Never mind. I just took a screwdriver and popped it out." When I go there now I tell him what I want done, then tell him to do whatever else he thinks is necessary short of replacing the engine. My cars have never failed me since I started going to Henry, and I've keep them all at least 10 years.
