A true testament to the quality of work is the devotion of the customer base at Flowing Wells Auto. If I am approached for a recommendation for auto repair I am excited to be able to send people to Flowing Wells Auto. Their client base is all word of mouth. Darryl and George are straight shooters. They will honestly tell you when a repair is needed. Their work to my observation has always been great. Linda will work to schedule you as asoon as possible. They will answer any question for you and help you become a more educated car owner. In the event that any trouble reappears they will work to quickly solve the problem. You can't go wrong at Flowing Wells Auto. You can't go wrong at flowing wells Auto.

Darrell is great! He is a competent, consummate professional. Last time I took my car for a headlight replacement, he wasn't in the shop like he said he would be. This was fine, because another mechanic was there to fix my car. Yet later that day, Darrell called to apologize for not being there, explaining that he had had an unexpected meeting. He's great, and so is his wife who runs the business!

Hands down, Darrell is one of the most honest, competent, and helpful mechanics I've ever worked with. I found Flowing Wells using the Car Talk online database. I was car shopping in the Tucson area, and because I actually live three hours away in New Mexico, I needed somebody trustworthy I could take cars to (or have cars delivered to) for a "inspect to buy" check-up. Flowing Wells seemed the best of the bunch in Tucson according to this database, so I went with them. Turned out to be a great choice; we really lucked out finding them. In the first place, they were super flexible and very helpful. My wife and I were pressed for time and only in town for two days, and Darrell volunteered to look at more vehicles than we had initially agreed he'd check for me so that we wouldn't have to come back to Tucson another day. He was just as thorough and professional looking at that extra car as he was with the first two, and was just as cheerful about it too. He was totally busy that day (which was a Friday, and I'm sure he went home later than he'd planned as a result of doing us that favor) but he went ahead and did the check up for us with a smile. Secondly, Darrell and the other mechanic there, George, are very clearly outstanding mechanics. I am enough of a shade tree mechanic to have a good sense of how thorough and competent they were -- I was completely impressed. From the big stuff to the details, from the engine to the body, they noted everything about each of the cars they examined. Their diagnoses were always right on the money, too. Also: I've never known a mechanic so willing put time into explaining things to the customer -- even going back over the car with me present to point things out and sending us off to negotiate with a clear set of notes to work from. Finally, Darrell and his wife Linda, who runs the business side of things, went the extra mile. First, as I said, they looked at more cars for us than they'd first planned on. Second, they took a long time talking with us about each vehicle, giving us neutral advice and feedback, and even compared notes with us on used car shopping strategies in general, reputable local dealers, etc. They even let us log onto their computer to run a VIN through CARFAX and printed out the report for us. I have a local mechanic here in New Mexico who I like and trust, but I sure wish Flowing Wells was here in town. While I haven't had a car in for repairs at Flowing Wells, based on my experience with their "inspect to buy" service, I give this shop the highest possible recommendation and would take a vehicle in to them without thinking twice. Once I found this shop, I no longer have to worry about getting ripped off for auto repairs. Prices are fair and never inflated, and the folks there are a joy to deal with. Very willing to answer any question, and present options when available. I last went in with problem that Darrel said I could easily do myself, and I NEVER work on cars. He was right, I saved a chunk of money and didn't even mind doing the job myself since it was quick and painless. How many mechanics would suggest that to a customer? Use them and get some peace of mind when getting your cars fixed.

I took in my truck for inspection prior to selling it. These guys spotted shoddy work that a major chain brake company had done when I had my brakes fixed a year ago. They had me fixed up and SAFE in no time, explained everything, and all for a good price. They are very friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them to anyone.
