Pat, the owner is great for treating the customer right. All car work done is explained in detail, including repair costs. I feel one can rely on the mechanic's opinions without wondering if one is getting ripped off.

I've taken my car to Pat at Coconino Motors a few time for evertything from strange noises to have my wiper blades changed. I LOVE the work they do, they are honest, treat everyone with the utmost respect and I've strongly urged others to see Pat for their automotive needs rather than the snakes at Tyrrel's.

A couple of friends recommended Coconino Motors to me after I'd been really taken advantage of at Planet Nissan/Subaru (the Soob dealer in town). I've been impressed. They've done good work on my car for very fair prices, and I've sent a number of friends there who've had similar experiences. One time they fixed my friend's air conditioning for about 50 bucks after another shop estimated the repair at $600. I've also opened myself up to trickery a time or two, taking the car in and explaining that I don't know much about them and would they please check out all of those things with mysterious names like "CV boots;" they've taken it for a thorough test drive, checked everything over, and charged me nothing for the diagnostics. Great mechanics.
