The "Head Honcho" of Metric Motion (Gerrett) Is probably one of the most experienced mechanics I've ever met! His work is always first-rate and his knowledge almost encyclopedic. He still has his first car in pristine condition (Triumph TR4 Named "Cookie Sheet") as well as an eclectic mix of, mostly foriegn, autos. One of His main "rides" is an immaculate and remarkable Citroen ID (Lecudia) Now Gerrett's operation appears to be kinda-sorta a "shade tree" operation. But don't let the appearence fool you! You could eat off the floors! (the mascot doggie does) Gerrett does an excellent job of explaining everything that needs to be done and what repairs should be done in the future. Gerrett is NOT too fond of air-cooled Volkswagens so don't bother. The work style can be a bit disconcerting and seemingly laid-back, Gerrett has a LOT of other interests (bicycles mainly) But work tends to be completed when promised. You should contact him first to be sure he can fit you and your car in to his busy schedule.
