Jim is a one-man show, and he has 25 years experience with audi/volkswagen repair, which is all that he does. He is honest to a fault, and doesn't nickel and dime you to death. He repaired an incorrectly installed part (originally installed by another Click and Clack recommended shop) in one tenth the time and at far less cost than the other guys. He is very personable, and will give rides to work, if needed. I know a bit about cars, and do most of my repairs on my other vehicles, but would never even consider doing work on my Audi since he is so competent and reasonable. He also has the latest in factory software, and pulled and cleared all the codes my 7 year old car had "thrown" for no charge. If you have an audi or vw, this is your guy!

I was traveling through the southwest in a borrowed 1989 VW Vanagon which was starting to make some funny noises and whose warning lights were coming on intermittently. No big deal, or a possible very big deal for being so far from home in an aging borrowed van. I can't remember the name of the gentleman who runs the shop, but he worked on my car for an hour or more, showed obvious expertise about his craft and about VW vans in general, took the time to explain everything he was doing and even let me hang out in the garage and watch him which was a pleasure. He was scrupulously honest, friendly, and competent, and I left there with much peace of mind. And his fee? Let's just say he was VERY neighborly, the kind of angel you dream about when your car is acting up far from home. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Good luck!
