As a chick, It's hard in this area to find a mechanic that doesn't treat me like an idiot. My banker recommended Pit Stop and guaranteed that I would not run into that problem there. I reluctantly took my car to this guy because my breaks were shot. The Owner discussed all of my options with me and showed me the wear and condition of the old parts. I decided to go ahead and replace everything. Rotors, pads, the works. He priced all the parts, in front of me, while on the phone with his supplier. (WOW!) In the end he did not alter the discussed pricing of parts or labor. Also he only charged me HALF the price the dealer next door was going to screw me for. I was thrilled to find out that they do engine repairs as well! He checked and found the cause of another problem that I have had for awhile (the same problem that the crappy next door dealer told me didn't exist). He gave me an estimate on the parts and labor for the next job, when I picked the car up. This guy Rocks! I will never take my car anywhere else as long as Dan is around!
