My brother and I have been going to Volvo Repair since I can remember. I have owned one Volvo, an 86 wagon, and my brother has owned several in the past but currently owns an 86 4-door sedan. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with him. The only downsides are that sometimes you have to wait to get your car in to the shop because he is so well known and trusted, and he's closed on Wednesdays. I don't even currently own a Volvo but every chance I get I recommend him. His prices are incredibly reasonable and he gets your vehicle in and out jiffy quick. Another plus is that he works specifically on Volvos so alot of problems are diagnosed quickly and correctly over the phone! By the way, the phone number is (479)442-4862.

Gary has been working on my Volvos since I moved to Fayetteville in 1980. His shop fits only one car at a time and he is the only mechanic. He works only on Volvos and knows what he is doing. He is a very, very good Volvo mechanic. Gary is also absolutely trustworthy, and you will never get ripped off. He is usually booked up a week or so in advance, but if you have an emergency, he will try to work you in.

I have always taken my 87 volvo to Gary. I wouldn't feel comfortable anywhere else.

Gary has always been willing to help. We had a problem that the other volvo shop locally couldn't fix for months (we took the car to them because he was booked up) and he got under the car, listened to it, and had it fixed in a day. He's the Wizard of Volvos, as far as I'm concerned.
