Wayne is friendly, totally honest and competent after decades of experience, prices are fair (although mechanics are never cheap), and he recommends other specialists when necessary.

I had taken by '01 Ford Ranger to a auto shop due to check engine light and overdrive light being on. They checked it on the computer, and it showed need for transmission and engine work. They told me the engine work could wait, but the transmission work would cost about $1200. At Wayne's Auto, they were friendly and quick to serve me. In a little while, the mechanic brought out a small part from the air intake and showed me that a small dead bug was blocking the air intake. Repair cost $40. However, when I left and tested it out, the truck was bucking and jumping when I got up between 50 and 60 mph. I took it back. The owner joked that I needed to dig my spurs in hard and hold them there, then told me it sounded like spark plug wires. They checked it, replaced the spark plug wires, and now it's running like a top. Cost: $90.39. Their my auto repair shop, now.
