A friend referred us to this shop, located at 184-B Oxmoor Rd (across from the Waffle House). They were friendly, helpful, and reassuring. We were expecting an expensive electrical problem, but it turned out to be a door that didn't close properly that was draining the battery. The next visit was for the transmission slipping. Again we were expecting the worst. The bill came to $43 for topping off the transmission fluid and repairing the hose where it had been leaking. And since they had it for a few hours, one of the guys drove my wife home while she waited for it to be fixed. I feel like we have a good mechanic in the family, just around the corner. We are thrilled to know about these guys!

We drive Honda's and Toyota's, and once they're out of warranty, we take all of them to Dave for servicing. He's rarely wrong and completes the work in the time he promised. It's better than going to the dealership because you don't have to worry about those dealership prices while simultaneously getting ripped off for "extras".
