Bryan has had more than one opportunity to fleece me as a customer, but always showed a sincere honesty that is refreshing in a mechanic. He and his staff are knowledgable and competent over and above just being nice guys.

The dealer told me I needed to replace the rocker shafts in my engine and the cost would be $3000. They also said that this repair must be done within the next month. I took it to Gamble Garage for a second opinion. The mechanic, Bryan, said that the noise coming from the engine is only an irritant and was causing no damage. He said if it was his car he wouldn't repair it. If I wanted him to repair it, it would cost $1500. Not only did he save me an unnecessary repair, but he would charge much less than the dealer would have.

I've had Bryan and his crew work on my old Ford Bronco II a few times and inspect my new Toyota Tacoma several times. They haven't ever "screwed anything up." Bryan will also offer to take care of finding used parts if you prefer to use something like that for a repair rather than a brand new part (in the case of the Bronco II). My only regret is that I'm back in the area but live in a different county, so I can't have them do inspections any more. He was recommended to me by a friend and I'm glad I listened.
