We have taken our collection of used Volkswagens over the last fifteen years to Bob's for repairs and we can always depend on his straight talk and fair prices. He'll give you the best advice even if it means less income for his garage or a referal to a competitor.

Really great and fast service: I called and asked for a quote on something (coolant flange replacement), Bob said he'd have to take a look to make sure we were talking about the same part replacement and so couldn't give me an exact estimate for cost(turned out we weren't, and I brought the part in I needed). He said regardless he could do it for less than what I was quoted at another place (dealership). He squeezed me in on a Friday (the day after I called), took three hours from drop-off to pick-up, and took the time to show me the old part, and explain why it was not working properly. Even though it turned out to be more expensive than he anticipated (like I said, he thought it was one thing, when in fact it was another - I didn't really know how to describe the part I needed replaced) so, even though he ended up charging me more than he thought he would (he never flat-out said "this is how much it will cost", but said "I can definitely get it done for much less than $210!) he ended up charging 52% of what the dealership quoted me- and was equally as through, and clearly someone I will return to with all my mechanical needs!
